Hello World! [entry#001]

Hi! I'm mappeep. This is the first post on my site! hehehehehe
I wanted to start blogging since around 2020 but I didn't had much knowledge on how websites work, what are servers, what is a domain, what is hosting blah blah blah.
Ofcourse you don't HAVE to know what those are to start blogging and just use google's blogger or wordpress but I would spend so much time trying to find out what these are that my motivation to start blogging runs out.
But this time I finally did it!! hahahahahahaha. I was in 8th grade when I thought of blogging and now I'm almost a 2nd year of college TT. THAT IS 6 YEARS OF PROCRASTINATION! (is it procrastination? cuz it is not like I wasn't trying to start writing... -_-")

Another problem I had was I didn't like the free domain names the hosting sites provide. Again, you don't NEED a proper domain name to start blogging! But I... I don't know. I just know that if I had a free domain name I would've never taken it seriously and prolly would've never started blogging!
So today morning! I finally decided to buy a domain name and went to namecheap. But then I got to know that my card isn't eligible for internation transactions- So I started looking for websites which accepted the payment locally, and I found hostinger!
I bought the domain and... I went down the youtube tutorial hell. I spent a good 5-6 hours down there trying to learn how html works. Yes, we did have html classes in middle school but that was like 7-8 years ago. Only thing I remembered was you save the file as .html TT.
Learning HTML wasn't really that hard. Even tho it is not a programming language, I feel like if you know even 1 programming language learning other computer language just becomes easier.
Anyways, I finally started building my website and after generating random color palettes I finally came across this beautiful palette!

And after learning how to connect webpages and how to insert images like I just did... Here I am! writing my first post! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
I am super excited for this and I have a lotta ideas like Album reviews, travel logs, share what I'm working on and these random shitposts! It's gonna be fun!

At the end of the day, this site is just an archive of my life on the internet so that when I'm old I can show my kids how cool I am, and then they can show their kids I cool was, and then they can show their kids how cool I was. AND OFCOURSE TO MAKE THE ALIVE INTERNET THEORY COME TRUE! :P
It is still very incomplete tho. Just the homepage and the blog page works XD. I already know where I'm gonna spend my whole summer. But atleast this makes me feel more productive than playing games all day hahahahahahahahahaha
